In 2004, Pastor Obed & Lissette gathered with 7 families in a living room in Rancho Mirage, CA and dreamt of a local church that would transform the lives of many and shake the Coachella Valley for Christ. On March 7, 2004, the dream came to fruition as Destiny opened its doors at the Adams Elementary School atrium and welcomed many families for the very first time.

Since that first service, God has moved in amazing ways and has used Destiny to change thousands of lives in the Coachella Valley and now in  Long Beach. Through God's favor and unremitting pursuit of a passionate mission, Destiny has experienced over 6,000 professions of faith and over 2,000 baptisms since our launch. From humble and sacrificial beginnings, God has placed his hand on Destiny and we truly believe the best is yet to come.
